ABOUT

Lash Wars is a friendly competition for eyelash extension artists, to help bring the community together. Lash artists will complete lash sets, with various aspects of their work being examined, for the chance to move on to another round until the top 2 lash artists go head to head for the final lashdown. 
The winner walks away with USD$1500, a bundle of Babe Cave products, topnotch sponsored prizes, and a medal with bragging rights to match for an entire year! 
All competing lash artists must sign a agreement with specific rules and regulations.
The top 3 stylists will be rewarded of course! For those wishing to spectate there will be a cover fee attached, Please see below.

COMPETITION DETAILS

Each competitor will have a chance to sign up for either "The Classic Love"  category which is our classic lash competition or "Bump Up The Volume" category which is our volume lash competition. Yes, you can totally sign up for both category rounds! The finalists of each category will then compete head-to-head in the "Creative Design" round which is a fantasy lash competition. The Judges will choose between the two finalists to win the title of "#1 Lash artist in the Caribbean".

COMPETITOR REQUIRMENTS

  • Each competitor must submit proper lash certification within the specified categories. (Ie. Classic and/or Volume certification)
     
  • The full payment must be completed in order to receive your bands for competing
     
  • Competitors are responsible for their models, tools and preferred product

Phi Brows Microblading Training

Being a manual skill, microblading requires a certain amount of time spent practicing. This amount of time is not counted in days. It is counted in months.
The initial two-day microblading course represents an introduction to the technique where the students become familiar with practice and basic problems of the technique and skin.
After this two-day microblading course, the students stay in daily contact with the Academy via the Craft Master application where they upload their works and pass levels. Only when they pass all eleven levels they obtain their certificates. Average time needed for obtaining the certificate is between 3 and 4 months. The students spend about 150 hours practicing during this time.

Theoretical part of microblading course:

Knowing when we must not do the treatment is equally important as knowing how to draw the eyebrows. The theoretical part focuses on skin problems, post-treatment care, pigments, shape, symmetry, etc.

The practical part comes down to practice on skin simulation on the first day and practice on live models on the second day. Practicing on live models represents filling in the strokes drawn by a master, so that there is no possibility for the students to make mistakes since they are working on the existing marks. The aim of this practice is that the students see how it feels to work on real skin and to eliminate fear in this way. Another aim of this practice is to get the feeling for the right pressure to a certain extent.

The topic of hygiene is the most important one and it is presented through a sequence of preventive steps that need to be taken in order to avoid possible problems.

Each microblading course includes a starter kit, regardless of the fact whether it is a basic or a professional one.

We are especially proud to highlight our Facebook community PMU & Microblading World Community. The community has more than 70,000 members worldwide. We are very friendly towards new artists so that the students do not hesitate to ask any type of question or to ask for help.

Via the Craft Master, the Academy provides constant technical support, as well as the support of the Academy’s official doctor Vladimir Zec.
The Academy provides an opportunity for advancement to all the students who have opted for a professional approach to the technique with Royal Master and Master titles.

Day 1

    Registration and signing the contracts between the Master and each student

    Basic information about the microblading course that would help the students to have realistic expectations regarding the training and mastering the microblading skill (microblading course duration, support, obtaining the Certificate, etc.)
  • 10:15
    Golden ratio and forming the shape of eyebrows on paper
  • 10:45
    Putting the blade in holder; opening the bottle with pigment; U blade;
    drawing the strokes ; video material
  • 11:00
    Drawing the strokes on skin simulation (latex)
  • 11:15 – Level 1
  • 11:30 – Level 2
  • 11:45 – Levels 3 and 4
  • 12:00 – Break
  • 12:15 – Level 5
  • 12:30 – Level 6
  • 12:45 – Levels 7 and 8
  • 13:00 – Lunch break
  • 14:00 – adding the students into the Craft Master learning application and getting familiar with the application (communication, lectures, sending the photos of work etc.)
  • 15:00 – Theory; information for the clients; skin problems, appearance of strokes; pressure (surface and deep); pigments

Day 2

    Positioning on levels based on the practice and works from the previous day

    Practice on live models (the first group of students)

    – proper stretching of the skin
    – use of anesthetics

THE HUNT IS ON! 

Come find the four "Golden Eggs" hidden within the walls of 1 Woodbrook along with 160 other fabulous must-haves. We will be meeting at Buzz Bar for 2pm sharp! It's the perfect kick off to Easter as we
Indulge in some friendly competition, some egg-tastic games and let's not forget, enjoy some yummy bites! 

-GAME ON- 

Eggathon- Take two shots..Spin around once and run with an egg in a spoon around our manmade course.. All team members must complete the course. First team to finish with the least amount of dropped eggs will win. 

Egg roulette- Two teams face off. Each face off will have a carton of 1 dozen eggs in the center of their table.. Some eggs will be boiled and some will be raw.. (Shower cap optional) .. One person per team will face off at a time. Take turns carefully selecting an egg from the carton.. Once an egg is picked up it cannot be placed back into the carton. Smash the egg on your head! Raw -1 point, boiled +1 point. Every raw egg must switch your team member. Team with most amount of points win. 

Egg toss- Each team will choose three team members to represent them. Toss an egg back and forth within a circle until the music stops. Whomever is holding the egg when the music stops is out. Whom ever drops an egg loses a point for their team. Last person in the circle wins the prize for their team! 

Eggtastic - Design and create an Easter egg bonnet at home. Bring your bonnet to model it on the catwalk! Whomever has the best bonnet/ runway walk wins!
